Client: Design Week Tallahassee
Project: Visual Identity + Illustration
In 2018 I was asked to create the visual identity for that Tallahassee's Design Week. Design Week is a conference with lectures, workshops, and meetups spread throughout one week centered around graphic design and anything that falls under that.
I went with a comic book-inspired look with halftones and off-registered colors. To tie everything together, I used CMYK as the primary color palette.
I started with the illustrated letters and took those characters and subjects to create a flash sheet-style pattern to put on totes and tees. Lastly, there was a separate tee design using the same visual language, all repurposed by the team to create signage, printed material, and social media content.
